The resort is finally at the end stage, ready to open its doors on March 1st, 2014. Few days ago, both pools were finished and water was delivered as well. A few last minute touch ups and cleaning
and we can be proud of this end result and accomplishment that lasted a little over 1 year thanks to a very productive construction crew. More to come soon.
Due to the long loss of power (Nov 2nd-25th), many of our suppliers, carpenters and pool constructors were unable to continue work on the resort. Therefore, we regret to having to push back the opening until at least the end of January or February of 2014. We will post any updates or changes as soon as possible. We appricate your concern and patience.

Typhoon Haiyan, known as Typhoon Yolanda in the Philippines, was the deadliest Philippine Typhoon on record, the strongest storm recorded at landfall, and unofficially the fourth strongest typhoon ever recorded in terms of wind speed, killing at least 5,235 people in the Philippines alone. The thirtieth named storm of the 2013 Pacific Typhoon Season, Haiyan originated from an area of low preasure several hundred kilometers east-southeast of Pohnpei in the Federated States of Micronesia on November 2, 2013.
Our neighboring island of Leyte was hit the hardest, bringing vast devestation to the city of Tacloban and surrounding towns and areas. Bohol and Panglao receive their electric grid from Leyte, therefore as of November 8th we also have no power and no water. The Leyte Thermo-plant is the largest of its kind in the world.
We are now using rainwater collected from the constructing pools to water the gardens and to continue the remaining construction.
Construction continues as we are using 2 small portable generators, so our team can finish of the remainder of the project.
The carpenter has finished most of the handcrafted gemilina wood furniture, including chairs, tables and closets.
The newly aquired 30Kv strong noise-isolated Diesel Generator will ensure present and future "brown-out" safety. This means, no more worries during times of no electricty, including powering all necessary appliances in and around the resort.
October 15th 2013
On October 15th, 2013 an Earthquake raddles the town of Carmen, Bohol with a 7,2 scale on the richter-scale. Panglao was luckily "untouched" as well as our resort, however, we were able to feel the ground shake for more than 3 minutes and experienced over 2,000 so called "after-shocks".
The entire exgravation is finally complete; including the main pool, small pool and all underground septic tanks and water tanks (totalling over 350 cubic meters of hard coral stone).
A state of the art water purified filtration system is being installed, featuring a UV-light system and an underground water tank (capacity of 45,000 Liters). In addition to using the regular water supplied by the town, the resort features its own rain water collection system, which in addition is being fed through the water filtration system to provide the guest with only the best; salt and chalk free soft purified water.
Painters are starting their work on all units, walls and other areas.
The layout of the last two houses are in progress, The "Pool-House" and the "Gallery-House".
All units passed the first construction phase and are being finished off, as well as the pools are being cemented.
contsruction on the 222 meter wall is started surrounding the resort; more palm trees are planted as well.
landscaping is taking shape; palm trees and other varities of tropical plants and shrubs and bermuda gras is being planted.
